Charlie Higson’s fourth Young Bond adventure Hurricane Gold has been shortlisted for the Booksellers Association's Independent Booksellers Book Prize for 2008.

Two shortlists, one for adults and one for children, were created according to votes cast by the independent members of the BA. Indies will be sent a point of sale pack next month containing posters and voting postcards. Customers can vote for their favourite books by returning the postcard to their local indie.

The deadline for entries is 24th October and the winner will be announced on 31st October.
