The recently revamped official Young Bond website youngbond.com has a hidden treat for fans. Click on the “US fans” link in the top right hand corner and you will get a sneak peek at Kev Walker cover art for the U.S. hardcover edition of Hurricane Gold. Very nice!

However, the powers-that-be warn us this is just a prototype cover, not the final, which has yet to be released. Still, I expect the flavor might be similar, and the hot tropical feel makes a nice contrast to the cold noir of Walker’s excellent Double or Die cover art.

Hurricane Gold will be released as a hardcover in the U.S. in April 2009.
