On Friday 10th August Charlie Higson signed 1500 copies of Young Bond: Hurricane Gold EXCLUSIVELY for independent customers in advance of publication on Gold Thursday (Thurs 6th Sept 07 by Puffin Books).
Each copy of Hurricane Gold was signed and numbered so one VERY lucky independent bookshop is going to have the only copy in the country of a 007 edition. Nobody knows which shop this book will end up in as the books were packed up and returned to the warehouse for distribution after the signing session.
White gloves had to be worn in order to prevent fingerprints from marking the gold book jackets in advance of the books arriving at bookshops.
